Táncjáték egy felvonásban, szimfonikus zenekari kísérettel
Carl Orff monumentális zenei mesterműve 25 évvel ezelőtt kelt életre a Szegedi Kortárs Balett látványos táncszínházi adaptációjaként. Juronics Tamás ikonikus koreográfiája azóta az együttes repertoárjának zászlóshajója, egyike a kortárs táncszcéna legkiemelkedőbb alkotásainak itthon, Európa-szerte és a tengerentúlon is. Az eddig lejátszott 425 előadással ez a produkció csúcstartó a hazai modern táncszínházi előadások között. Az előadás szemléletesen ragadja meg egy képzeletbeli barbár közösség tagjainak hétköznapjait, miközben ösztöneik által vezérelve próbálják átvészelni, amit a Sors rájuk ró – néha boldogságot és szerelmet, máskor bánatot és halált hoz számukra. A csalódások, örömök, félelmek megélésével mindannyian egyre többet tudnak meg önmagukról, végzetükről és lehetőségeikről – emberi mivoltukról. Az évforduló alkalmából az előadást élőzenei kíséret teszi még teljesebbé a Bartók Béla Nemzeti Hangversenyteremben.
Az előadást követően, 19.30-tól Echéry-Pataki András, a Szegedi Kortárs Balett igazgatója, Juronics Tamás, a társulat művészeti vezetője, az előadás koreográfusa, és Hollerung Gábor, a Budafoki Dohnányi Zenekar zeneigazgatója, az est karmestere tart pódiumbeszélgetést a Zászlótérben.

It was 25 years ago that Carl Orff’s monumental musical masterpiece came to life in the form of this spectacular dance-theatre adaptation by the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company. Tamás Juronics’s iconic choreography has since become the flagship of the company’s repertoire as one of the most outstanding works in the Hungarian contemporary dance scene, as well as across Europe and around the world. With 425 performances to date, the production holds the record as the most-performed modern dance-theatre piece in the country. The performance vividly captures the everyday lives of members of an imaginary barbarian community. Driven by their instincts, they attempt to endure whatever Fate imposes on them: sometimes happiness and love, at others sorrow and death. By experiencing disappointment, joy and fear, they gradually learn more about themselves, their destiny, and their possibilities – about what it means to be human. For the anniversary, the performance at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall will be complemented by live musical accompaniment.
After the performance, a panel discussion will be held on Banner Square from 7.30 with András Echéry-Pataki, Director of the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company, Tamás Juronics, the company’s Artistic Director and choreographer of the performance, and Gábor Hollerung, Music Director of the Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra and conductor for the evening.
